Terry Bean has a tremendous passion for helping others get better connected to what they seek. He takes time to uncover people’s needs and leverages his network and knowledge to see them fulfilled.

Terry Bean’s early career included selling technology products and services including telecom solutions, data networks, application development and even people. It was during his first stint as a technology headhunter in Columbus, Ohio that he began to refine his innate networking skills.

He returned to the Detroit area in 2000 and began building a totally new network. His love of Detroit compelled him to create Motor City Connect in 2006. MCC was one of the first hybrid online and real world networking groups in the country. It has provided business opportunities, guidance and inspiration to 1000′s since the inception.  Terry is also credited with creating the movement that celebrates March 13 as Detroit Day.

After leading 100’s of networking meetings Terry Bean became a sought after keynote speaker. Audiences love his ability to deliver uncommon knowledge in a clear, entertaining and immediately implementable way.  Terry’s “inspiredutaining” style keeps them entertained while he “fires them up” with the information they need to live their best lives.

Terry has written a book on business networking and has received some nice accolades. In 2009 he received the “Presidential Volunteer Service Award” from President Obama. In 2010 he was honored as a Leader and Innovator through Lawrence Tech University. In March of 2012 he received the Detroit2020 person of the week award from Local ABC affiliate Channel 7.

Terry holds a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Business Communications from Eastern Michigan University.  Terry loves The Simpson’s, introspection, Universal Laws and sharing. Terry lives in White Lake, MI with his wife Stephanie and their 13 year old daughter, Drea
