It’s funny where inspiration can be found. I am sitting in a parking lot while Stephanie picks up some personal items for her trip. Bet you can’t guess the name of the store. Oh wait, that is pretty obvious isn’t it?

Success in life is about taking aim, firing and hitting your target. Right? Certainly. But what about those of us who don’t know what their target is? That poses a challenge for many, many people every day.

How often have you thought about what you want to be when you grow up? That’s a fun question at 10, a good one to ask at 20 and from that point on the question takes on new meanings of sadness for those without answers. Hit 40 and not know the answer and others will be sad for you too.

What you may want to consider is figuring out exactly what your target is and then taking aim at it. Your target is driven by what you wish to achieve.

Aim can come in many fashions:

Asking for help
Strategic planning
Massive action
Visualizing your goal as if it were attained

I can tell you from experience that best way to hit your target is to employ all of these strategies simultaneously.

The last thing you need to do is be grateful for whatever outcome you seek. An attitude of gratitude will always serve you well.

So here’s the recipe for your success:

Pick your target
Focus on the actions
Be grateful for the outcomes

If all else fails, you can employ our original rules for social media…Ready. Fire. Aim. That will at least get you into the taking action stage 😉
